These are some rough ideas for a self portrait I am working on. It is part of an assignment that I created for a high school art student that Jeff Harter is working with. I figured I would execute the same assignment that I gave her. It is a self portrait created using Collage as the medium. The working space is 12X18. I haven't decided which direction I am going to go with so if you have any opinions on the sketches fire away.

Hmmmmmm, hillbilly? I do have long hair, a long shaggy beard, sometimes wear suspenders, and enjoy wearing hats. Would that classify as a hillbilly? I dunno but if yuse dun fined out lemme know. :)

Im thinking top middle. Combines the dew with more dew and lots of more dew. Use lots of dew....Its all about the dew!
I like the bottom right- just add a suspender in there, show an earring, make that can say Mt. Dew and it says "Ben".
The top middle one is an accurate portrayal of Ben's daily Dew intake, I can vouch for that. :D

Dude, Mt. Dew needs to do a commercial with you as their spokesperson. I like the upper left... It's all you. Or do them all, sell them to upper deck.
